From the menu select "Championships" and then "2018 FIA FORMULA 2 CHAMPIONSHIP" and simply complete a season, you don't even have to win so you can simply retire from every race if you want. After this you'll want to play an individual F2 championship for the F2 Racer trophy because this cannot be obtained in your career mode. Then set a time under any conditions on every other track, but make sure you don't go off track because you need to set a clean lap time.

Just do (one round) qualifying sessions and the race in every instance and put all your upgrade points into one department (Engine department recommended). Make sure you simulate the rest of the practice sessions in the other weekends as opposed to skipping them because simulating them will still net you a lot of upgrade points.

Just make sure to do a full session once and set the fastest time in each of the three practice sessions, the qualifying session and the race to obtain both the Assisting Development and Look at Them Go! trophies.
If you want to get all the career the trophies in the quickest way possible this year you won’t have to put in the effort to complete all free practices. This will also get you the Great expectations trophy. Then start a new career for the last time and pick Ferrari, Mercedes or Red Bull for your extended career, as you will need to win a constructors championship and with these teams your teammate is much more likely to score decent points than with any of the others. Pick Alfa Romeo or McLaren for the Something to prove trophy, back right out and start a new career, this time picking Williams, Racing Point, Renault, Toro Rosso or Haas for the Contender trophy. Start a career from the main menu, set up your driver credentials and choose a team. Also you can choose to do short races which means you will only have to do 5 laps per race. Pick any difficulty you wish, you can pick the easiest difficulty setting without penalty. This doesn't necessarily have to be your first step but since this is one of the longer ones you might as well use this to get a feel for the game.

The offline part of the game is very easy and will actually cost you a bit less time than in previous iterations of the game. There's also a trophy that requires you to get an online gold rank which was initially very hard to obtain but after various patches it was made a lot easier to the point where it should be obtainable for any decent racer. Trophy wise you will have to work a bit harder this year mainly because there's more online trophies and the infamous level 50 online trophy is back. Also there is a bit more emphasis on the online part of the game with featured races, friend (frenemy) leagues and more customisation options. You can choose to race an individual F2 Championship but in your career it's not more than three races before you jump into the big league. The main new attraction is the addition of F2, albeit the impact of this on the game isn't too big. For the first time, Codemasters has released the game earlier in the real F1 season and that might be the reason why this year's version of the game doesn't bring a whole lot of new things.
